The Felt Fairy - All about the Felt Fairy

Thank you for popping in, I really do appreciate your time!

My name is Annie (aka Carolyn) & I'm a feltaholic!

I have designed and created jewellery and hand stitched items for

many years, mainly using recycled and reclaimed materials (I also

sell under the name of Reclaimed Vintage)! I have sold my wares

at Birminghams Custard Factory Flea Market and also had a hugely

sucessful stall at Leamington Peace Festival.

Although i still have a passion for all things vintage, particularly buttons,

over the last year I have been drawn to felt and its many, many

uses! It is such a versatile fabric and easily lends itself to most

creative tasks from jewellery making right through to pin cushions

and soft toys. Its uses are endless! My new found passion

for all things felty led me to buy it in wholesale quantities for my

own use! Many friends asked me to share my beautiful stash and

under extreme duress (in the begining) I became the Felt Fairy!

These days I love to share my passion and my wares!

I work from my home in semi~rural Warwickshire. I have a

progressive muscle wasting condition which means I am able to

work, rest and play from home, creating to my hearts

content (energy permiting)! I have a 'grown up' daughter

who lives nearby and three of the most gorgeous dogs you could

ever imagine, Alfie, Jack & Betty. My work is conducted under their loving

and approving gaze (no dog hairs though, I promise).
